i am thinking of geting a new card maybe next 6months or so depending if i can get a job soon
but anyway i am using 7870 which is a ok card but i feel like soon ill need a better card with all these new games coming out
whats really going on with these cards that i am hearing about nvidia and what AMD is trying to do
what i am trying to say it what is there to do when all these cards are being limited or not changed much from the pass cards

make your best guess i suppose based on what you need it for in performance gaming video editing ect.how deep your pockets are. the amd/nvidia thing will always be there an funny you should say most of the same issues

yup it the same old song an dance imo! but the newer cards are quite nice in the higher resolutions these days. my son still runs 2x7970's an they still kickn it. i'm running 2x290x's which i dont use 1/2 of most the time. but looking to see what the r9 380x or 390x? may bring

well i like both nvidia an amd but got a sweet deal on my 2 290x's there was no way to say no. what i find kinda unfair comparing a 290x against a gtx980 they are not in the same price class i would expect a gpu costing 100$ more to perform better just as i would any cpu thats a100$ more wouldnt you say?
