Hi guys, I've been having issues keeping a wireless connection for my Xbox 360 to my landlord's new Netgear N750 router. I had been toying around with the settings in an attempt to amend this when I became completely shut out of my network. I now get the message "WLAN Access Rejected: Incorrect Security from MAC address <Xbox 360 MAC address>".
After reviewing the logs shortly after it started, I realized that the MAC address had been spoofed by a malicious intruder who attempted to connect to my network multiple times through it, resulting in my Xbox being permanently banned from connecting to the router.
I have tried rebooting the router and the Xbox, neither of which solve anything. Any attempt at using an alternate MAC address subsequently bans that MAC address (however, rebooting the router removes the ban on that).
Comcast has demonized ethernet cables in my landlord's gullible eyes, so I am not allowed to use them. I am stuck with wireless. I have nowhere to go 🙁
The router is a Netgear WNDR4300, firmware v1.0.1.60.
