Hi.

My WiFi drops down to limited connection randomly. If I turn wifi on and off I get connected back up. This can happen multiple times each day.

I looked into routers event log and found this:
[WLAN access rejected: incorrect security] from MAC address <my mac adress>

In the log I can see this multiple times as well:
[DHCP IP: <my ip>] to MAC address <my mac adress>

So it seems like the router rejects my laptop access and then suddenly it goes through.

If anyone could help me out here, it would be much appreciated.

Router: NETGEAR WNDR4300
Wireless card: Intel Centrino N-2230

My apartment is rental and I do not have access to the router. My landlord is currently on vaction, so no way to connect with cabel. How safe is it to do a firmware update on the wifi?
