wlan card not fitting in pci-e slot

So i'm trying to install my asus pce-n15 wireless adapter onto my asus p8z77-v pro, and when i try putting it in, its just one little half millimeter off... and no matter how much pressure on it (with out it breaking) I cant move it over to fit in =/

hmmm, and that did happen too with the gpu... i'm going to try taking the plate off and putting it in

 
You will have to remove the motherboard and see if there is a post or standoff in the way that is preventing the card from sitting properly.
Some motherboard back plates have permanent post or standoff, you might need a different case or a hacksaw!

Otherwise, the silver plate holder thingy is too long and is preventiing the card holder from sitting, it's hitting the base plate. If you got a similar card with a shorter end bit, you might be able to exchange one for the other. You might need to raise the motherboard up a notch but then you would need longer standoffs.
