I have a Toshiba L875D - S7332, and It wont start up any more. It just shows the logo screen and says "Repairing Start-up Repair" and then goes to a blue screen and says "Windows has failed to start because of missing hardware, or an error"
And the error is wmilib.sys
I've tried every thing to fix it... I've tried to make a Windows 8 recovery on a usb stick and It acts like it's going to go into recovery by showing the blue Windows 8 logo but then it just goes to a black screen. Also the built in recovery doesn't work on my laptop (shocker). Anyone know how I could fix this? I was wondering if I could go buy a windows 7 installation cd and install windows 7 on it? I've also bought a new windows 8 installation disc and it also show the blue windows 8 logo and started loading but then it to a black screen and the computer turned off.
Any help would be much appreciated

COuld be a virus or hardware issue. Start with a hirem boot cd run hdtune read your hard drive smart info and run memtest to check your ram. From hirem boot cd or download a virus rescue cd scan your system. The system restore on your laptop should have a option to wipe the drive and put the factory image back on. Only want nuke and pave if you have to. The hirem boot cd has minxp on it so you can move your personal files off the laptop.

How do I get a hirem boot cd? Remember I can't actually get into windows because of the blue screen. (Sorry I'm really bad at this kind of stuff"
