Wolfenstein fatal error

Hello guys,

I am using Windows 8, and when I try to launch Wolfenstein the New Order I get this error:

idRenderSystem::Shutdown()
Shutting down OpenGL subsystem

***************************
FATAL ERROR: wglChoosePixelFormatARB not available

***************************

Any ideas what is the problem? I have installed the latest graphics drivers (correctly), deleted and reinstalled the game, run the game in windows 7 compatibility mode and run as administrator. I have no idea what is wrong!

I have an Asus motherboard, amd radeon 6970, and am running windows 8 and I meet all the specs required. Also I have my cpu on overclock.

My guess is it's a glitch that a new driver and/or game fix will patch.

You could also try an older driver and see if that works.

Hmm. Oh and I tried validating the game files, they were all valid. the issue still persists, so I am hoping for a solution I really want to play this game
