So, pretty much the same requirements as ever other game that comes out. Thanks for the info!

I won't be buying Wolfenstein. Although I really do like killing Nazi's...

Sweet! What a nice surprise - I had no idea this was in development. Can't wait. It's been 8 long months of NOTHING for the PC market. COD: WW sucked. GTA IV for the PC was absolutely horrid. Everything I upgraded my computer for last year was a huge disappointment.

This year, the only FPS shooters worth anticipating are Wolfenstein and Modern Warfare 2. What happened to all the Thiefs, Dooms, Cryses, Far Cry's etc.???

"fans will need an Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz or an AMD Athlon 64 3400+ processor, 1 GB RAM, and a 256 MB Nvidia GeForce 6800 GT or ATI Radeon X800 graphics card"

Oh no. Another Crysis!

I'm sure hoping they don't use the new Wolfenstein for testing benchmarks...anything like an i7 965 with a 4890 or a GTX 285 (let alone oc'd Crossfire or SLI rigs) will be getting like 150+ fps!

A p4 3.2ghz LOL I'd hate to try this kind of game on that kind of set up but it is good to see that is minimum rather than some dual core spec being minimum. So looks promising to run on midrange machines :)

Now that's something different compared to the first wolfenstein that needed a 386 @33 and a VESA video card able to display 640x480 screen reso and 256 colors

and why do I get -1 for talking bad about a p4 3.2? I own 3 of them and they are slow. I game on a core2duo. get with the program, guys. these days you should have a minimum core2duo with a pci-e video card if you want to enjoy your games.

So freaking not worth it... horrible advice...

unless your parents are stupid like mine, in which case they never look at the 'big picture'. They bargain over tiny costs and savings, while big spendings in the thousands aren't much of an important topic for them. If they won't let me buy a new comp for gaming, I'm pretty sure I could trick them into letting me buy an agp 3850. Even though I know it would have been a complete rip-off in my previous situation 3 month ago (when I didn't have my new comp), it may have been my only choice for my p4 3.0 had my parents been restraining me from a new build altogether.

@jeep11, he could but he doesn't need to, nor would it be justified. He's already implied that his primary gaming build is a c2d... and my primary gaming comp is an athlon 7750 BE :D

(amd vs intel fanboy glare)
