wont boot displays "Press<F2> to enter setup

Aspire 5733Z-4633 wont boot past ACER screen. Gives one line message
Press<F2> to enter setup Press<F12> to change boot device.
Have pressed both F2 and F12, blank screen appears and the same message appears. What gives??

enter the BIOS..to check if it can see your hard drive.

You could possibly have a virus or a trojan. Yes they can get into the bios too.
