Hi,

I have a p4c800-e deluxe, worked fine yesterday. Today no boot, just the
voice message "System failed CPU test".
Tried cpu in different machine-no problems.

Looks like a new motherboard, does anyone agree?

How about your PSU ? It is more likely to fail than
any other component in the computer. Is there a
burnt smell around the computer ? Does the green LED
light up at all on the motherboard ?

Try a new PS first, much cheaper.

Clear the CMOS just for kicks.
If it works after you clear it then change the CMOS battery.

Shrug.. Never hurts to try the basics.
