Won't power up

I built my desktop and wired it correctly. I turn the power switch on and I get lights and power, but as I hit the power button the fans and system will start for a split second and then shut off. All lights will remain on. Set up as follows:
Corsair obsidian 750d airflow edition case
Asus rog strix z370 e gaming motherboard
Corsair vegence lpx ddr4 3000 2x8 16gb ram
Corsair rmx 1000x watt power supply
Intel i7 7700k many lake processor
Cool master hyper 212 cpu cooler
Evga GeForce gtx 1080 to direct x 11gb graphics card
And a Toshiba x300 4tb hard drive 7200rpm.

I have no clue why it won't stay powered on please help!

That processor is NOT supported on that Z370 motherboard. You have a CPU installed that cannot be used with that motherboard chipset. You either need a Z270 motherboard or a Coffee lake processor.
