Wont turn on

I bought my wife a nikon d3400 for her birthday last September and a new tamron lense for it for xmas and i went to use it last night and it qont turn on even though i know the battery is charged please help

Hey mate thank you for your answer yes tried it with the nikon lense it came with as well still no joy so off to place of purchase to get it looked at sadly but cheers mate thank you again

Yeah sounds like a replacement / repair would be needed. Happy New Year, though, don't worry too much about it.
