[SOLVED] Word document open at the same time on 2 local accounts

I want to have the same Word 365 file open at the same time on 2 different local accounts and be able to save the latest saved file at the same time.

What option should I choose? It's asking me if I want to open a read only copy and some other options.

Why are you trying to do this? What are you trying to accomplish?

I just want to leave a word file open on one account that I use for my personal use and, at the same time, have the file open on another local account that I use for work. I work from home and can work on non work related issuses between calls. I would like to leave the word document open on both accounts all the time so that I can edit and save it as needed without having to constantly open , save, and close it when I switch accounts.

I know of no way to do this outside of using a shared capability, like Teams, or converting to a Google doc, etc. Is something like that an option for you?

I could use a cloud based option, but prefer to keep the file on the local hard drive. idk if there is a way to accomplish what I want to do or not.

Possibly, but its not a simple solution.
