Its not just the number, but also the strength of each core.
Something like a Ryzen 5 is the ideal budget streaming processor.

I mean, by all means try it out, you have nothing to lose by trying with what you have.

I would look for a used 2nd or 3rd gen i7 rig. Some same gen Xeon rigs could work too. That would be a much better option, for streaming WoW gameplay.
