Work permits

Hey

I have had two players (Eddie Lewis and Eyal Berkovic) at Millwall, when
I've had them few seasons their work permits expires and there's a "WP" icon
left to their names and I can't play them. I've tried offering them new
contracts but even if they accept, the work permits are not renewed!!!!

er yeah they have to play in a certain percentage of games for the
permit to be renewed
what version of the game are you playing?

You used to be able to see the percentage, where has it gone?

They have changed the system to make it more realistic so it now depends on
some bizare combination of club appearance, international appearances,
reputation and bribary. Hence the no percentage, though this does make it
impossible to know who needs a work permit as they seem to have removed the
line in the players details that say whether they need a woek permit or not.
(Ronaldo needed an appeal to get a work permit for me, but Freddy Adu and
Freddy Guarin got one straight off with no caps). On new contracts when I
have offered my non-EU players a new contract there has been no mention of a
new work permit regardless of appearances for me or country.

ah, the percentage rule was only in older versons.

to bring it more in line with reality, WP's now last the duration of a
players contract, but as you let theirs run out, so did their WP.

dont think theres anyway to get it renewed, and i dont know how this
would work in reality either.

I see... so there's no rules, no system and no way of doing anything but let
the players leave on mutual termination.
