this patch has been a long time coming. Since WotLK was released, people have wondered when they would have a chance to fight Arthas... and the time has finally come. To people that have never played the game for any decent amount of time, this is ridiculous... but to people who know the back story and who follow and play the game, this is huge.

[citation][nom]michaelahess[/nom]A patch with new content? Has the world gone mad? That's pretty much the definition of an expansion or service pack, not a patch. WOW has f'ed up the rest of the world on a level so deep, nobody seems to notice anymore! It's just SAD![/citation]
I quit playing WoW years ago, but please...
They call it content patch and why would one care about naming that much? Wow expansions come with a really sweeping changes, like new continents.

I really like Warcraft RTS games, read all Warcraft novels and now reading the comics, and of course will buy the upcoming books. But for some reason, I really hate WoW online game. I wish Blizzard would make solo adventures Warcraft series. Please 🙂

[citation][nom]jeraldjunkmail[/nom]What a surprise, Blizzard releasing, wait for it, MORE WOW CRAP! Nothing cool released since 2004. Many have lost faith, me included...[/citation]

Exactly how I feel.

This is lame with they would fix all those countless bugs to improving all those meaningless and crappy quests. At least I was lucky enough to find and exploit a bug that allowed me a third profession when it thought that I had only two. Got Enchanting, Jewlcrafting, and Blacksmithing. Really liked adding the two gem sockets then the belt buckle was a welcomed treat when you make your own gems like 24 more stamina and 20 more agility. The enchanting was a nice edge as a tank. Got 1777 stamina alone with 25k armor.

They released trailers for the 2 previous content patches, Trial of The Crusader and Ulduar. Love it or hate it, no other game/developer has the resources that blizzard does to allow for things like this.

What Blizzard fails to mention is that the surge in players mainly account for busy parents buying their kids wow playtime and what do you know. Instant babysitter and it only costs $15 a month; what a steal. Now what more can you ask for? Sign. As a mature player I am just not happy with what WoW has come to. I think WoW stopped been fun after the first expansion. Leveling is a joke - tooo fast now. Obviously Blizzard is catering to the spoil brat types so what can you expect. Gotta say my faith in that company is waning as is my interest in their upcoming titles.

This comment fails on so many levels...kinda proves my point.

Please, I am a bear and tank all the hard modes just fine, if not better than some of the other tanks. In terms of progression, Bears are probably the strongest tank.

In regards to this patch, they added in cross-realm instancing, many other goodies for WoW fans.

You do make a point but not all of us a druids or rogues but we can hold our own. Running around with 25k (just under 26k) armor all most all T9 gear with all gem slots used. 19 gem slots goes a LONG way plus 130k gold buys a lot.
