So here i am, my system is MORE than good enough to run the game :)

i got a Asus 990fx motherboard

Crossfire 7970 6gb

An FX 8350 Black edition clocked at 5Ghz

a gold certified anten 1000W PSU

fully custom watercooling.

as you can see i have no reason not to be able to run the game maxed out, any ideas what could cause me this trouble?

Monitor you cpu and gpu loads and temps while playing. See if you can see if either of them are getting hot or hitting max load.
Gpuz and openhwmonitor are good programs.

Are your drivers updated? Have you tried turning off crossfire? Have you tried disabling ulps?

Im sorry for being abit silly here, but what is ulps?

i have tried turning crossfire off, i also checked my CPU temps and everything was fine and dandy
my drivers are as new as they can get! :)

Ehmm, that might be true but that doesn´t change the fact that my 8350 is more than enough to get me though world of warcraft, and about the GPU i can run wow with FAR less than what i got i once used a 5970, and a 5870 that did a better job than my 7970s so i cant really get though your point?

i also think you should look a tad more on other benchmarks, because the 7970 is ourperforming the 970, and my card is essentially the same thing as a 280x.

also note that i have the ghz edition.

You have any add-ons? They might be going wacky.

I would certainly look into CPU performance in task manager while running WoW just to rule out anything strange.

After that you might look into updating ALL of your drivers. I have had sound cards do funky things after a Windows update or game update before.
