hello guys,

So, i am about to buy my first GPU. i am being offered a gigabyte gtx 1050 Ti, which is in 7 months warranty, the owner of gpu said that he got it from Dubai.

so if something happened, what i would have to do to claim warranty ?
and what about gigabyte customer support? are they good at RMA?

P.s gigabyte gtx 1050 is also available for 150$ (brand new),,, which i should buy...
thanks

It's the risk you take, a good deal on a second hand item that comes with potential warranty issues, or buy new from a supplier and be sure of the warranty.
If you get a copy of the original receipt with the item it can make things easier.

Personally I have managed to claim on second hand items a couple of times but usually wouldn't bother. Sometimes you can go directly back to the manufacturer with the serial number and they will cover the warranty.

Now, here is one more way..

i can make my relative (in canada) to buy me a gtx 1050 ti because amazon does not ship to pakistan( i live in pakistan)...
so what about warranty, if something happened (inside warranty) and i want to claim it, then what would i have to do??
(do i need to send it(GPU) back to my relative in canada?)

P.S which brand of GPU provides international warranty? BTW GPU are rare and crazy expensive for instance GTX 1050 ti Asus is 230$ here with local warranty
