Worrying temps at idle on Asus R9 390

I just finished a new build (full parts list here), and my R9 390 is sitting at 54C while effectively idle. Should I be worried?

my 290x is 45 at idle in a midtower case, yours is itx so it is normal that the temps are a bit higher.

Check and verify is the fans are even on. They do spin down on my asus 390 model. If that's the case you can manually adjust the fan speed to prevent the video card basically switching into a passive cooling mode and running at high temps. Have ASUS R9 390 STRIX.
