Sorry for my english.
I bought an HP Zbook 15 g2 workstation laptop for work, and it works perfectly.
I tried playing games and I was shocked by its low performance. I know its not designed for gaming but lagging on full minimum settings in GTA V seems weird.
I updated all the drivers, forced the games to use the nvidia gpu, set up every little setting in the nvidia control panel.

The game has stable 60-70fps, but still not smooth, feels like 20fps.
The mouse reaction is slow, all the movement is choppy.

What can I do?
I read reviews saying it is perfectly possible to play games with this setup, and that it performs just as great as any gaming laptop.
There is no overheat and the cpu usage is around 30%.

Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 4900mQ 8x3.8GHz
RAM: 16gb
GPU: Intel HD 4600 2gb + Nvidia K2100M 10 GB

Yeah I saw the k2100m listed, but being as that's a Quadro workstation GPU, not a gaming GPU, I thought maybe you were using it for workstation purposes.

It's really not wise to use workstation GPUs for gaming. Their performance for such use is often hit and miss, probably due to using different drivers.

I couldn't even find any references of anyone using that GPU on GTA V. So it's expected performance for that is a guess at best.
Poor performance with GTA V on mere HD 4600 is normal. I just wacthed a YT vid with that spec and even the intro couldn't play at 30 FPS and was very choppy.

You're expecting too much. That isn't a real gaming rig you have there. HD 4600 will play some games adequately, but not modern ones that are hardware demanding.

The intel hd 4600 card is the integrated one, tha game is not supposed to use that. In the Nvidia settings I forced it to use the other one, the Nvidia K2100M, that should be able to handle that.
