I have just recently treated myself to a 980 TI which is working amazingly however I'm still running 8gig of RAM. I was wondering if it would be worth while bumping that up to 16? Would it make much difference with frame rate in game or is 8gig fine for now? Would it have any other major benefits?

My build is:

- CPU: Intel Core i5 4440
- RAM: 8 GB Corsair Vengeance
- GPU: MSI 980TI

0 fps difference.

You may notice around a 1% ~ 2% improvement in fps if your RAM is faster speed and faster CL however increasing from 8 GB to 16 GB won't make a difference.

You need more than 8 GB of RAM if you are doing heavy multitasking and you use programs that take advantage of that much RAM.
