Hey all

Hope you are all doing well through this tough time and I wish the very best to you and your family.

I currently have a 4-year-old system running a 6700(not k), 16gb2400mhz ram, 6gbGtx1060 and 512gb Evo850SSD
It goes quite well still and since my monitor is only a basic 75Htz ViewSonic gaming screen it seems to suit my FPS limits atm in most AAA games as long as I keep it to 1080p only.

I would like to upgrade to a system capable of 1440p for the next few years and ideally push the FPS up a bit towards 60-100FPS for most AAA titles.

I have been offered this system (The one below) for $1,000 US and its only 3 months old (the owner has decided to switch to a surface pro + dock)

Please also bare in mind I am in New Zealand where computer part prices are quite a lot higher. Please refer to this version of PC park picker to compare prices.

What do you think for 1000US or $1800NZ?
Obviously I need to upgrade the Graphics card and I was thinking an RTX2070Super?

Hey mate I'm a new zealander and I built my pc 18 months ago and it was only $400 more expensive ($2200 nzd) and I had a 1070ti in it with roughly the same specs otherwise.

The 1070 ti was almost $1000 by itself back then! That pc you are looking at buying is worth less than $1000 nzd. Look at the website computerlounge.nz to give you an idea on how much things are worth. I'm more than happy to help with a build for you :)

Prices may be high for a while due to covid-19 and the limited supply atm but it will get cheaper sooner enough
