So i'm using a 720p TV for a couple of years now, and some people told it's a lot better to change to 1080p.
I already found a monitor that I MIGHT buy: http://aoc-europe.com/en/products/G2460VQ6
I got a gtx 750 ti and I know that I won't be getting the fps I'm getting now, but i'll make it work.
So is that monitor any good and is it really WORTH changing to 1080p? Will I see a huge difference, or will I just loose fps for something minor?

1080p is way better as far as quality and how close you can sit to your display. If you have a higher resolution display you can sit closer to a larger screen and it still look good. You can always drop the resolution for games. Is this only going to be a monitor or are you going to watch tv on it? If only for a monitor why buy a tv? *edit* just realised you said bigger than 26 inches so that's why.* Monitors usually have less input lag and better refresh rates. You will lose fps. If native is 1080p then 720p will still look good on it as it scales good to 1080p but if it is an odd resolution it wont look right or good most of the time. So dropping it to 720 is a good option and then you get a better picture for tv watching and movies...
How large is the TV you've been using? 1080p is noticeably sharper than 720p. But if you're going from a medium to large sized television to a 24" monitor, the difference will be even more apparent.

I'm using a 26 inch TV for couple years now.

Play game drop to 720 if you have to play movie bump it back to 1080.
