I am currently running win7 and just wondering what peoples thoughts are on win10. Is it worth the jump yet? I know you can go back to win7 at any time if your not liking it.
Thanks in advance.

Solution
Honestly, I would not make the jump yet. There are so many issues that have yet to settle out. I have been a beta tester for it and installed the final versions on several computers. In the end, they were all returned to either Win 7 or Win 8.1.

On my primary computer I installed 1511 and was one of the "few" that got barraged with ads. That was the final straw for me and I cloned the machine back to Win 7.

Telemetry does not bother me as much as the privacy issues. A lack of control over updates is also a concern. I can see the day when a bad update is forced on all users and fifty million computers go blue screen.

Will I eventually make the jump again? Probably, but not for several months.

Thank you for the helpful answer. I did try it on my laptop rather than my pc just to test run it and didnt like the lack of control and how difficult it was to change settings. Hopefully in the future there will be some updates to change this and yea as you said the forceful updates could ruin a lot of users all at once.
