Worth the upgrade ?

Hello, currently i have GTX 960 2GB and im thinking about upgrade to GTX 1070, do you think it is worth it ? or i should wait until the next new GPUs release ?

EDIT: I also heard that the gtx 10 series are poor in DX12 so its bad for future is it true ?

It is a great upgrade, expect a massive performance boost.

The 10-series are not bad in DX12, just AMD cards are more optimized for it. 10-Series won't be a problem at all.

Also, most games will take a few years to use DX12 effectively, so another reason not to worry.

Agreed, also you'll want to pick up a solid 144hz monitor with a 1070 when you can, a good entry point is the Asus VG248QE or the BenQ XL2411Z.
They both use the same panel, so get whichever is cheaper.

Hell yeah that's worth the upgrade, go for it now.
I personally don't notice the difference with DX12 turned on or off.
