Worth upgrading cpu or not.

Hi everyone, I'am currently running a i5 2500k @ 4.5 ghz 1.25v and im planning to add another 7970, will this perform enough for dual gpu or I might need an upgrade to a i5 4690k or i7 4790 ?

You dont need to, that 2500k will do very well with two 7970's.

Not really, you still have an outstandig cpu for gaming, also with that overlcock, looks like you hit the jackpot.
