System specs:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
RAM: G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB 3200 GTZRX CAS 14 running at 3200 currently
GPU: MSi GForce 1080Ti GamingX
MOBO: Asus ROG F-Gaming X470
M2.SSD: Samsung 970 PRO 1TB
SSD2: Crucial MX500 500GB
Cooler: Corsair H150i RGB PRO
PSU: Seasonic Focus PX-750W

Is it worth the money I would have to fork over to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 3700X for this system? Would I see a significant increase in performance for that?
(The difference would be something around 200€ , around 220$)

Depends entirely on what you do. Gaming alone, with nothing running like streaming, you might not get much better. But if you do stream, especially at high resolution, as you game it might.

It would clearly benefit most if you render graphics or videos and need faster turn-around-time.
