So I'm able to sell my GTX 1080 for pretty hefty price and if I add some money I can easily buy 1080Ti for around 950$(This is quiet cheap for my country, believe it or not). But I dont know if its worth it thoe, since volta is probably right around the corner.

Worth is something only YOU can determine.

If you wait for the next best thing, you will wait forever.
Do not expect a bargain from the next series of top graphics cards. They will sell for a high premium, at least initially if they are much stronger than the GTX1080ti.

You must ask if your needs warrant a stronger card.
I would not consider a GTX1080ti or even a titan X to be a really big jump in capability over a GTX1080.

OTOH, if you are able to make the swap at a reasonable price, and you have the budget, I say go ahead and do so.
If you do not, you will forever wonder if you should have.
I have never regretted paying top dollar for the best.

You are probably right, I should probably invest in newer and faster storage since the only reason I want the 1080ti is just because its a 1080ti and its pretty much it the best out there(if you know what I mean).

You can get a good deal selling your 1080 because of how high GPU's are going for due to bitcoin miners and chinese gamers making demand high.. I would say it depends on how much more will you pay in the end after this is all done.. If the difference is minimal then it's worth it..

Have you consider selling the 1080 for a profit right now and then wait for the new GPU and market stability? You could potentially get the next gen model without spending extra money. Not sure if the country you are in would cause issues though. I know in the U.S you can make a lot selling your used recent cards. I'm considering selling my rx 480 because of this.. Paid 230 (msi gaming x 4gb) they sell on ebay used 400$+. Switch back to old card and buy a 1070 or equal for 400$ when market settles.
