Question Would a 5800x be considered an upgrade to a 3600?

So my build is around 5 years and I don't want to replace everything and go am5, having a 3600 would getting a 5800x make a noticible difference? Only asking beause newegg has it for $128, if it would bump up my frames noticibly, I'd probably want to swap it out. Or would getting a 5700x3d be a better option? or should I leave it be till I'm ready for a full upgrade to am5? Not really noticing problems in terms of fps but if I could get more I could increase settings with same fps, just not sure if it would increase enough.

If gaming is the goal, get the 5700x3d. It should provide a substantial bump in your min fps/1% lows and reduce stutter in CPU bound titles.

gaming benchmark above says 5800x is 12 percent above 3600

same benchmark says 5700x3d is 95 percent above 3600
