i may buy a EVGA 1080Ti but want reconfirmation that it would fit in a Rosewill Challenger S computer case which says it supports up to 360mm video cards so i would assume so?

what about a EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti KINGPIN

It's not hard to search yourself BTW.

11.8"

That's probably a waste of money though. It guarantees 2025MHz but apparently more than 2100MHz is unlikely. Most half decent GTX1080Ti cards can hit about 2000MHz already.

So that's at best maybe a 5% boost. And it costs how much?

*UPDATE: apparently all the GTX1080Ti's are selling out quickly and none are being made anymore. Probably the prices have then gone up on all models.

It's like $525USD for an EVGA GTX1080 and $780 for the cheapest GTX1080Ti that I saw.

An RTX2070 is similar to a GTX1080 in normal rasterized games but has the potential to run faster with DLSS or add ray-tracing if it makes sense (need more info).

But an RTX2070 costs about the same as a GTX1080 so the RTX2070 makes far more sense IMO. Example:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/8nhKHx/evga-geforce-rtx-2070-8gb-xc-gaming-video-card-08g-p4-2172-kr

Same for RTX2080... it's similar to a GTX1080Ti in price and normal gaming performance now (roughly $800USD to start) yet also has that extra tech.

And just FYI if a game has a DLSS profile you might get a 40% FPS boost. So in some cases it's my understanding that with more tweaks an RTX2080 might get even 50% boost over a GTX1080Ti.

*So again an RTX2080 on average should be as good, or slightly better than, a GTX1080Ti at the same price but with extra tech that can be used in SOME GAMES in the future for more eye candy or higher FPS (DLSS).
