would a gigabyte gtx 660 work with pci express 1.0 x16 and this cpu and motherboard?

I had to do some research on this for getting my GTX 660 and there was only a very minor bottleneck using it on a PCI 2.0 slot. There was although a pretty noticeable bottleneck when it was placed into a 1.0 slot. So it would certainly WORK but you would only be working at about 70% efficiency if I recall correctly.
