Would a GTX 970 be able to run 2 1080p monitors?

At the current moment in time I only have one 1080p monitor, but I am toying with the idea of adding a second 1080p monitor. I would only be using one for gaming. Would the MSI GTX 970 (Twin Frozr V) be able to handle both monitors?


I am also using an i5 4690k and 16GB of DDR3 memory at 1600MHz.

Yes fairly easy, my girlfriend does it with her evga 970

I run 2 with a gtx 680 so there should be no issue at all on a 970. Also you can look up the specs on the nvidia site most will run 3.
I can also hook up my tv to my system so basically that is 3 at a time for my 680
