Would a Ryzen 7 Build give single POST Beep without GPU?

I am trying to understand if presence of GPU is a must for a computer system to POST and give the traditional 'All Ok' Single Beep signal thru motherboard speaker.

AMD Ryzen CPU does require a discrete GPU for display on current AM4 boards like B350 Chipset. So if I build a Ryzen CPU system with compatible parts (mainly CPU, Motherboard,RAM & say a keyboard) but do not attach a GPU would the system POST with single beep or it would warn me thru a number of beeps that GPU is missing?

Thanks.

Thanks. Yes I agree that beep codes could vary from firmware to firmware but is GPU mandatory for a PC system to successfully clear POST? Would it halt in absence of GPU or would clear the POST successfully?

e.g. absence of memory will halt the system come what may, but would absence of GPU halt the system?
