[SOLVED] Would a USB Hub attached to a 50ft USB extension cable work?

I have my computer roughly 50 ft from where I'd like to stream. Attached to my PC, I'd like to run a 50ft USB 2.0 active extender to the streaming area and attach it to a USB hub, and then plug two web cameras and a Yeti mic to the hub. Before I buy all this stuff, would this actually work? I know USB hubs / extensions can be a bit finicky. If so, any recommendations on specific products or brands?

50 feet is really pushing it for USB cable-length, but for any chance of it working you'll need to get a mains-powered hub otherwise there'll be hardly any juice through it's USB ports at that distance.

USB is a 2 way conversation. A reply back has to happen within some nanoseconds.
50 feet = too far for a reliable return signal of sufficient strength in the required time.
