Would an i5 8600k bottleneck a 2080?

I currently have an i5 8600k that I OC'd to 4.5 GHz, but I think I could easily get it to 4.8. I have a 1060 6 GB but I am planning on getting a 2080 when it comes out. I was wondering if the CPU would bottleneck it. In my experience, the lag I get when the CPU is bottlenecking is much, much, worse than GPU lag. When I used to play BF1 with the same GPU and an i5 4590, I would get unbearable stuttering. I am planning to play on all ultra and have a 1440p 165 Hz monitor if that helps. Reply if you need any more specificity. Thanks.

Also, I have 16 GBs of 2800 MHz DDR4 RAM if that helps.

It’s the 2nd best gaming cpu on the market and the 8700k (1st) isn’t that much better and not worth upgrading too. Every system bottlenecks the cpu at times. I really wouldn’t worry.
Even if it did let's say you get 50 fps in a certain game where your GPU is the bottleneck. Switch to 2080 and now your cpu is bottleneck but now you see 100 fps... do you really care that much?
