Question Would I be able to OC my 1700?

Questioning about overclocking my 1700.
Motherboard - GIGABYTE b450m-ds3h
cooler - wraith spire rgb but soon switching to a h100i V2 / H115i performance
Hoping to push atleast over 3.6ghz

Given the 1700 can boost to 3.7GHz, and should be able to achieve that over all-cores without touching voltage, "over 3.6GHz" shouldn't be a problem, even on the stock cooler.

There's limited headroom on most Ryzen chips.... but you should be able to achieve 3.8-3.9GHz, maybe 4GHz with a bit of luck.

You'll definitely want a H100iV2/h115i. My 1700X gets really hot when overclocking.

the h100i v2 and h115i went out of stock where I live, is there any other cheap recommendations for an AIO?

CoolerMaster ML240R, not the L. Fractal design Celcius s24, Evga clc 240/280. Deepcool has terrific aircoolers, not so much good liquid coolers. Not a fan of Enermax AIO's either.

is the gamemax iceberg 240 any good, or the gammaxx l240 or the ID Cooling Frostflow x240
