Would I get a performance boost when upgrading my mobo?

I was wondering what performance boosts I would get from getting a new motherboard(Assuming I don't OC, I will but lets assume I don't)
I have an FX 8320 / XFX R9 280 3gb
Would I see any real world improvement's?
Current Mobo : Gigabyte GA-78lmt
New Mobo: Asus M5A99X Evo R2.0
Is it worth it to upgrade?

If you dont overclok on the M5A99X then no there will be zero performance increase.

absolutely zero gains.
the motherboard you have is socket am3+ already so there would be zero benefit.

Unless you're getting throttling on your current mobo @ stock speeds (and you shouldn't, that mobo should be fine) then no

Yes i would definitely recommend you re install the os it may work if you dont but that could cause a lot of issues the motherboards have a different chipset and im sure use very different drivers.

yes. most windows keys are verified via the motherboards mac address so if that changes then you would need a new key for windows.

the gigabyte board should be able to handle an oc mate. there really is no need to buy a new 1 just to oc.
