Would I lag while Mining + Gaming at same time on two different GPU's?

Hello, I currently have a GTX 1080 for gaming, and while mining I cannot game (obviously). So my question is, if I go out and buy a GTX RX 580, would I be able to mine off of that and still play games like Overwatch on max settings on my GTX 1080?

I would like to buy a RX 580, overclock it, and mine on it pretty much 24/7 even while gaming on intense games, is this possible?

My current build without RX 580:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X

GPU: GTX 1080

RAM: 16 GB Corsair 3200 MHZ

Motherboard: MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon

Power Supply: 750 Watt Corsair Gold

Hard Drives: SSD: 520GB HDD: 1TB

As far as I understand from a few miner friends of...
It should be possible because if I recall correctly, mining software gives you the option of choosing which GPU to mine off.

However, regardless of SLI and Crossfire being a gaming software, I am not too sure of the compatibility of the 580 and 1070 in the same system. If you do know how to work it do go ahead.

I do know that my 1080 and rx 580 would be fine together in the same system, especially because they would both be MSI. The thing that is worrying me is that I am going to buy the RX 580, and when I mine on it, even when de-selecting the GTX 1080, it causing lag.

I wouldn't like any frame drops what so ever, and even if there is, i'd like as little as possible.

As far as I understand from a few miner friends of mine, it should not affect too much. I doubt too much of lag would be seen. But it should be okay.

You can do this no problems.
And, depending on what you're mining.... you COULD use your 1080 to mine while gaming, also depending on the game.
I mine while playing less demanding games on my 1070, I just edit the miner config so the mining program is less intense.
