This is my setup

Gtx 770
4670k
z87-g45
750w psu.
866mhz 8gb ram.

My question; Would it benefit my system at all, if i buy 8gb 1600mhz RAM?

That would be a good idea for gaming.

You'll get a pretty good FPS boost.

i think you'd best try it out with some borrowed ram instead of buying it, the speed increase will probably be quite small
