Would like help with buying a new PC

Hello, i'm building a gaming pc for a player that will be using a pc for at least 4 hours a day running games like COD, DayZ and Minecraft. I would like to know if this PC would get a decent FPS for the mentioned games and if not, some possible solutions. This PC is at the top of my price range so if there's any possible improvements that are not too expensive please say so. I would get something like this, which would have MUCH MUCH more bang for your buck:

Spend a lot less on the CPU and cooling system (especially if you have no plans of overclocking) and get a faster GPU.

i5-4440 would save you about $50, not needing a $50 water cooler would total up to $100. Dropping from a Z97 motherboard to a H97 motherboard would be more savings.

All told you would be going from a ~$100 video card like the GTX750 to either a GTX760 (A lot more powerful), or something like an R9-280 a little bit faster then the GTX760.

Locked processor on an unlocked motherboard capable of supporting Nvidia SLI when you chose an AMD Graphics card. Not exactly ideal here. Cheaper Z97 boards out there if you wanted an upgrade path.

Power supply is nice, but a little pricey for the build. XFX550W would be adequate.

Depends on the exact board. Most ATX standard boards will support PCIe 3.0 at 16x and 8x/8x. Then the PCIe 2.0 slots all share 8 lanes, so you can have 8x/disabled, 4x/1x/1x/1x, or even only 1x/1x/1x/1x in the slots.

cheaper uATX boards will generally have the 16x/4x config you are talking about. The good ones will still be able to pull 8x/8x.

mini-ATX will only be able to do x16 (cheaper boards only 8x)

All moot since, the majority of pre-builds will never see more then one video/expansion card. WiFi being the most common expansion card which the 2.0 slots are more then enough for.
