Question would my motherboard be causing input delay?

My build has, msi pro h610m-e, i5 14600kf, rtx 3060, ripjaws 3200mhz ddr4, the game i play is fn but it feels so delayed, the only budget part in my build is the motherboard and someone said the data transfer speeds are bad, so to see a big improvement in delay would I need to upgrade motherboard?

What peripherals are you using? The motherboard doesn't cause any noticeable delays, and I think your issue is with any wireless mouse/keyboard you're using.
Drop your keyboard and mouse models and ill have a look.

If you're using a Bluetooth adapter for connecting your mouse and keyboard, that could also be a limiting factor.

I use a razer ornata v3 x, and a geeknet gsme01 mouse, I think its a pretty unknown brand of mice so maybe it could be that, i did overclock it to 1000hz polling rate so it should be fine?

Unlikely. If your have another Mouse and Keyboard could you swap it and see if that helps?

Also, don't set high polling rates in random mice you find, because they often come with their max polling rate and pushing them further could make them heat up, and i managed to kill my USB port somehow a while back.

only if the specific PS/2 or USB port the device was using was malfunctioning.
the motherboard itself would not be causing a delay.
how is it connected and have you tried other ports?

make sure all board drivers are updated along with the latest BIOS iteration.

you don't state which device(s) exactly are showing some type of input delay.
or if it is only in this one specific game.
or how the device(s) are connected to your system.

almost impossible to diagnose any issue without the full details of the situation.

if mouse;
if using any manufacturer specific software try disabling/uninstalling it and see if the situation improves.

if keyboard;
same instruction as the mouse.

try swapping them both out and see if the issue still continues.
