Hello. I'm new to building pc's and this is my very first try, so i apologize if this is a stupid question.
My problem is that the cpu(Intel Core i7-4790K) and ram(Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB) i had chosen don't work well together because the ram needs 1.65V, to run at full capacity, but the cpu's recommended maximum is 1.5 +5% V(1.575V).
So my question is, will overclocking the cpu (something i think i want to do even without this problem) allow the ram to function at full capacity or should i just try and find ram that has a lower voltage requirement ? (and if so should i go for 1.5V or slightly less?)
If anyone want's a full build of my planned pc here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/6jVhNG
Thank you in advance.
