Would PCIE 2.0 x 8 bottleneck a 4870?

Im looking into getting this MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813136055
But it only uses PCI-E 2.0 x 8 in crossfire, and I wanted to put two 4870's into my new build, so I'm worried about this bottlenecking the cards.

The majority of the tests show that bottlenecking on the 4870 in crossfire occurs on the last gen PCI-E 1.1 slots, but not on the PCI-E 2.0 slots. The difference between x8 and x16 link speeds on the 2.0 slot is negligible.
