I am wanting to build my next PC, to be used for internet browsing and word processing. I want to have a separate PC, so I can have my current one as a dedicated graphics PC, instead of one for everything. The build is from 3 retailers, CCL Computers, Ebuyer and More Computers. The part list is as follows:

  • ■ AVP Viper Case (CCL Code CAS1076)
    ■ TP-Link 300Mbps PCI E Wireless Adapter (CCL Code NET0394)
    ■ Samsung DVD Optical Drive (CCL Code CDR0205)
    ■ Gigabyte AMD FM2+ Motherboard (CCL Code MBD1463)
    ■ Windows 10 64-Bit (CCL Code SFT0634)
    ■ HyperX Fury 8GB 1866mHz RAM (Ebuyer Code 633841)
    ■ Ace Black 550W PSU (Ebuyer Code 566862)
    ■ Kingston 120GB SSD (Ebuyer Code 411692)
    ■ AMD A10 3.8GHz CPU (More Computers Code A10-5700K)
I'll take advice on board, but bear in mind that I don't need much storage, as I store it on a USB Stick, for easy transfer to college. Thanks for your help.

Would you suggest buying an anti-static cable and thermal compound for the build as well?

thermal compound is a must, or you'll fry your cpu. Make sure to get a cpu cooler unless you're going with the stock one.
AN anti-static cable is optional but i wouldn't risk not getting one!
