Would this be a Bad combo

So i have a PC with a AMD A10 6800k @4.0 ghz with 8GB ddr3 RAM and i am upgrading the GPU but i wanna go with either the 780 ti or the 980 ti but i want to know if the 980 ti would be a bottleneck -Future thanks

No matter what you do, you're adding a GPU that'll be crippled by the APU. What is the frequency on the rams? Are they in dual channel(not mixed and matched)? What is the make and model of your PSU and how old is it? I wouldn't go above a GTX760(or equivalent).

I agree with Lutfij, that CPU is really going to hold those cards back.

Try a simple test:
Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.

If you need a stronger cpu, you have nowhere to go except a cpu/motherboard/ram upgrade.
That will be expensive.

My RAM is 8gb ddr3 1600 mhz, my psu isnt even 3 months old and at 500W bronze.
