Well knowing my PC can do Arma 2 and DayZ well but not over 25-30 FPS on High and the fact the game is mostly run by the CPU, curious if my new 8 Core will do? And no I cannot buy or trade for a new CPU and it's very rare in my country for a Phenom ii x6 processor...

But curently I have a Phenom ii x2 in one machine and a AMD Athlon II Dual Core (x2) 270 3.4Ghz System and what I've just got for like $80 was a Unlocked AMD FX Eight Cores Black Edition FX- 8320 3.5GHz / Max turbo 4.0Ghz Socket AM3 16MB Cache. (Not sure if the 'Unlocked' means anything but never the less appears far better for the job!) But would still like to know.....

There are a lot of reviews. The 8320 is just a little bit slower than the 8350 which is AMD's top desktop processor right now.

US$80 is a phenomenal deal, as they are normally about $180 retail.

And i5 is a little faster in some CPU heavy titles, but I would say 8320/8350 are the second best gaming processors behind the i5. For $120 savings, you did good!

What video card do you have?

P.S. "unlocked" means you can overclock it easily.
