I'm planning on getting a celeron 600 cCO and using a slotkey and cooling unit to overclock it to 900 or 1000 Mhz on my slot 1 motherboard. My question is since my computer is an IBM Aptiva and the BIOS is IBM will I still be able to do this? I've heard mixed answers so far.

Probably not, if its an IBM. I dont know their newer systems very well, but usually their BIOS wouldnt accept a CPU that does not officially exist.
