So I have been having issues with my ram and motherboard (unrelated), so I was doing tests with the ram in and out, and I had unplugged my cpu fan because I had to reconfigure the fan layout to reach the ram, I was turning the pc on and off multiple times without realizing I hadn't plugged the CPU pump back in, it seems fine right now but I'm just worried that it damaged it in the long run, the pc was shutting off so it wasn't getting overheated, but we did this multiple times wondering why it was shutting off.

If it's still working fine it should be ok. If it's a recent motherboard they are designed to shutdown at a temperature that is below what could be potentially harmful for the CPU.

even if it was multiple times? its working perfectly right now, just worried it could have slightly damaged it

If it's working well then it's not damaged. The worst that could happen is that you slightly shortened its lifespan but I doubt of it. As I said, the safety shutdown is there to prevent this to happen.

Get one of these Noctua NH-P1 passive heatsinks and you won't have to worry about fans.:)
