I found this computer off craigslist for 500 dollars, while I'd like to build my own computer this right here blows my current desktop out of the water (AMD Athlon x2 2, Geforce 8200). I was thinking of building a Nvidia/Intel build which would cost me right around 1000, but, I think this here would take care of my needs for quite some time and at a affordable price. What do y'all think?

Much better deal as long as it has a good PSU. You should contact Or Nah and see if you can buy that off him.

Nah apparently the PSU is crap, even tho I've been using the pc np for a good year. Anyway, I'll be selling it to a friend at a discount of 300 since we're good buddies.

need does not equal want

The PSU has been working flawlessly for a year now and still is, he doesn't need to upgrade it simply because "it sucks bro"

Who said "it sucks bro"? No one. It is a FACT that it is a low quality unit and should be replaced. It is a danger to the system. Just because it has been used for a year means nothing. It could easily have been pumping out irregular voltages and pushing the components WAY out of spec. This happens all the time. A quality PSU is the single most important part of a PC.

Once again should/want does not equal need.

But to each their own.

Problem is if its a low quality bargain bin type unit by the time it needs to be replaced it might damage other hardware that now also needs to be replaced.
