Wraith Prism Software Not Working

Hello there,

I have just completed my very first build, everything is working just fine except I cannot get the AMD/Cooler Master Wraith Prism software to detect my Wraith Prism cooler. Whenever I open the software I just get a notice saying “Plugin your CM device to get started”. Anyone have any suggestions before I contact Cooler Master support?

A couple of things to note, I have the USB cable connected, not the RGB one and the software I downloaded was the “Wraith Prism V.1.15.exe”.

Thanks for the reply, COLGeek. Is that while keeping the USB cable attached too? Or instead of the USB? I've read in a few places that the USB was needed to control the lighting through the Cooler Master software.

I believe so, yes. Connect both. On simply powers the LED function, the other provides the management/control functions.

I have both the USB and RGB cables connected now but I am still getting the same message unfortunately. Any other suggestions?

Make sure your motherboard LED controller is enabled in your BIOS.

LED controller is enabled, I have also tried reinstalling the software but still nothing, however I turned the RGB cable around and I can now control the fan LED's on the cooler, the AMD logo is staying white and the ring is still cycling colours as before.

I have contacted Cooler Master support and they haven't been able to provide a solution either.
