I have had this problem with this pc before. If trying to write a file 1gb or larger to a ntfs flash drive or any flash drive it gets part way and stops. It will write it to an old external drive I have and if I move the file to my laptop I can write it to the flash drive with no problem. I had this problem with this pc back when it was Win 10. I recently updated to 11 and moved to a SSD and a new CPU.
I have tried all my usb 2, 3 and 3.1 ports.
The error code I get is 0x800701b1 but searching that did not help.

Thanks in advance for any help

Kingston DT50 32gb also with a 16gb Can't remember where on line I got them it was about two years ago and they have hardly been used for any large files until now
But it could be the two Kingston flash drives.
Seems to be working on an older 16gb flash drive I found in the back of my desk drawer at the moment.

Also one fails on the other pc now also

I asked, because there is a plethora of fake large capacity flash drives around.

Do these work on different systems?
Do other flash drives work on this system?
